Coming up: Three LumoTV premieres in three locations!

Posted on 28th August 2025

LumoTV is thrilled to premiere not one, not two, but THREE exciting new, short films at three new locations across the UK!

All three films are by new writer-directors, getting to see their films on the big screen!

Sucker, by Fae Al-Kalamchi, centres around Juni who has a deadly appetite. In Lockdoon, by Ruaridh Lever-Hogg, we're introduced to four social misfit players are thrust into an escape room challenge. And, finally, in Cleaned Out, by Sam Arnold, will Maria's dubious boss get his comeuppance?

We begin at Flarewave Festival in Brighton (at Duke of York’s Komedia) on Thursday 4th September to showcase Lockdoon and Sucker alongside previously released short film, Familiar Stranger, and a sneak preview of the Cleaned Out trailer!

Next we’re at Queens Film Theatre, Belfast on Wednesday 1st October, and finish at The Forum, Norwich on Friday 3rd October. At both these locations, you’ll be able to watch Cleaned Out in its entirety alongside Sucker and Lockdoon!

Doors open at 6pm, all tickets come with a free glass of fizz, and we’ll be joined by ALL THREE directors for a Q&A session after the screening of these films.

LumoTV invites everyone to join the premiere event, where guests can witness the incredible work that the team has passionately developed over the past year.
