LumoTV is proud to announce the launch of the first ever British Sign Language (BSL) led dating reality show. Hold My Hand is a brand-new BSL dating show, exclusive to LumoTV, that brings the deaf and BSL-using community to the forefront of the search for love. Hosted by deaf twins Hermon and Hermoda, the show follows the most eligible singletons as they navigate a revealing and high-stakes game of connection.
Under the tagline “Love Is Deaf,” the three-part series follows a diverse group of deaf and CODA (Children of Deaf Adults) singles as they navigate the highs and lows of modern dating entirely through BSL. Hold My Hand puts deaf culture, language, and the community’s lived experiences at the centre, redefining what representation, diversity and inclusion in dating shows and reality television should look like.
